…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Chariton River near Prairie Hill affecting Chariton and Macon
Counties.

Grand River near Gallatin affecting Daviess and Livingston
Counties.

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Livingston and Linn
Counties.

Grand River near Sumner affecting Chariton, Linn, Livingston and
Carroll Counties.

Grand River near Pattonsburg affecting Daviess and Gentry Counties.

Thompson River at Trenton affecting Grundy and Livingston Counties.

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Brunswick affecting Chariton and Carroll Counties.

Tarkio River at Fairfax affecting Atchison and Holt Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.

* WHEN…Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Low-lying cropland floods. At 28.0 feet,
Rural roads are under water. At 35.0 feet, U.S. Highway 65 south of
Chillicothe is threatened by flood water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 3:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 31.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
