Tracking Summer Like Weather

The July 4th weekend is ending on a quiet note, at least in terms of our weather. Our skies have cleared and the humidity is a bit lower, and that means we will begin the new work-week with temperatures closer to the seasonal normals of 88 and 67.

We'll see sunny, mild weather to begin the week with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s. By mid-week, higher temperatures and more humidity will return. Highs both Wednesday and Thursday will be in the low 90s, and we may see the heat index top 100 on one, or both of those days. Mid-week is also when rain chances return. Right now, we're not expecting any severe weather, but it will bear watching as we get further into the week.

Dry weather should return for next weekend.
