2 Buchanan County teachers named Northwest RPDC Regional Teachers of the Year

BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A Northwest Missouri organization is celebrating two Buchanan County teachers for being named Northwest Missouri's 2027 Regional Teachers of the Year.

Northwest Missouri Regional Professional Development Center recognized Melanie Vulgamott from Mid-Buchanan County R-V School District.

The organization also recognized Victoria (Tori) Turner, from the St. Joseph School District's Spring Garden Middle School.

"These exceptional educators exemplify the very best of our profession through their passion, leadership and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of students each and every day," the organization said in a Facebook post.
