St. Joseph Mustangs take down Joplin Jailbirds

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Bats got hot late in the game for the Mustangs, helping them take down the Jailbirds on Saturday night at Phil Welch.

In MINK League action on July 11, the St. Joseph Mustangs took down the Joplin Jailbirds, 7-2.

St. Joseph improves to 19-12 on the season, winning seven MINK League games in a row. The Mustangs will have a couple of days off before resuming play in Chillicothe against the Mudcats on Tuesday, July 14 at 10:00 am.

They'll be back home at Phil Welch against the Clarinda A's on Thursday, Jul 16, with first pitch at 6:30 pm.
