Mustangs announce doubleheader for July 25

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Mustangs have announced a doubleheader for Saturday, July 25.

The Mustangs will play a doubleheader against the North Missouri Natty's at Phil Welch Stadium on Saturday, July 25. The doubleheader is scheduled in order to finish the June 13 rain-suspended game.

The teams will resume a full game at 4:30 pm and complete the remaining 8 and a half innings with the Naturals leading 3-0. After the end of Game 1, there will be 30 minutes before the start of Game 2.

Game 2 is scheduled to start at 7 pm and will be a seven-inning game, barring a tie game and the need for extra innings.

One ticket will get fans into both games. The previously scheduled Mustangs Ornament giveaway for the first 250 guests will begin when the gates open for the first game. Gates will open at 4 pm. The final 2026 Mosaic Life Care postgame Fireworks Spectacular will follow the second game.
