St. Joseph Goats score winning touchdown with six seconds remaining to beat Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wi. (KQTV) - The St. Joseph Goats indoor football team closed out their Arena League regular season with a crazy game over the Eau Claire Axemen.

Eau Claire scored a touchdown and two pointer to take a 39-38 lead with just 15 seconds remaining on the clock. Then on the Goats first play of their next drive, quarterback Angelo Trujillo somehow found Aderlas Ealy over the middle between two defenders and scored a 45 yard touchdown with just 6 seconds remaining to put the Goats ahead for good in a 44-39 victory.

The win brings the Goats to 6-2 on the season and if the Nebraska Siege lose to the Iowa Woo on Sunday, July 26th, St. Joseph will host an Arena League Playoff game at the Civic Arena next weekend.
