Tracking Saturday Storm Chances

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Saturday will start out warm and muggy across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. We will have a mix of clouds and sunshine through the morning and afternoon.

Temperatures will move into the upper 80s and lower 90s by the afternoon and there will be a chance for some showers and thunderstorms. The chance is 30% but as we get closer to the evening hours we are looking at a better chance.

Storm chances increase even more as we head towards Saturday night and Sunday morning as a cold front moves into the area. As the cold front moves into the area we will see temperatures start to drop and by next week high temperatures will only make it into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
