Goats to face Siege in first round of Arena League playoffs

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The wait continues for a home playoff game in St. Joseph for the Goats, as they will officially be heading north for first-round playoff action this upcoming Saturday.

St. Joseph officially clinched a playoff spot on July 18 after taking down, at the time, the previously undefeated Nebraska Siege in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Now, after the Goats ended their regular season with a thrilling victory against the Eau Claire Axemen on July 25, they'll be heading back to Grand Island for first-round playoff action against the Siege. The Siege brought the road to the title game back to Nebraska after demolishing the Iowa Woo on Saturday night by a score of 61 to 14.

The St. Joseph Goats versus the Nebraska Siege will throw off at 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 1 at 7:00 pm.
