Annual ‘Puttin’ for Mutts’ golf tournament returns

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Animal Shelter and Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph are hosting their annual "Puttin' For Mutts" Golf Tournament.

The event starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Fairview Golf Course.

The tournament is a four-person scramble which will benefit Friends of the Animal Shelter.

Hot dogs and hamburgers will also be served to all the players.

The event is still in need of sponsors and players. Anyone interested in competing can sign up at https://petforu.com/golf-tournament/
