Trenton woman seriously injured in Daviess County crash

JAMESPORT, Mo. (KQTV) -- A 73-year-old woman was seriously injured in a Daviess County crash Monday.

The crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. at the intersection of Missouri Route 6 and Route NN in Jamesport.

The 73-year-old female driver of a 2007 Toyota Camry was attempting a left-hand turn from Route NN onto northbound Missouri Route 6.

The 65-year-old male driver of a 2015 Dodge Ram from Brimson, Missouri, was southbound on Missouri Route 6.

The Camry traveled into the path of the Dodge, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The front of the Dodge struck the left side of the Camry.

The Camry came to rest in the southbound lane on its wheels facing east. The Dodge came to rest in the southbound lanes on its wheels facing south.

The Trenton woman was taken to Mosaic Life Care by Daviess County EMS. The Brimson man drove his vehicle away from the scene. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
