NWMO, State law enforcement makes arrest in Lathrop Drug investigation

CLINTON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- One individual was taken into custody Monday following a search warrant execution in Lathrop, Missouri.

The Northwest Missouri Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, Lathrop Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Maple Street in Lathrop.

No injuries were reported during the search warrant execution.

"The safety of our community remains our top priority," said Sheriff AJ Carrel. "Through strong inter-agency collaboration, we will continue to proactively address illicit drug activity throughout Clinton County."

Carrel said the investigation is open and active, and no further details are being provided.
