Atchison County Sheriff’s Office arrests Arizona man on federal warrant

ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Atchison County Sheriff's Office received a federal arrest warrant for a man who was indicted by the United States Western District Court of Missouri in relation to a Rockport, Missouri, kidnapping.

Dustin Hill, of Florence, Arizona, was indicted on four counts for the incident that occurred in September of last year:

  • Attempted Enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, which carries a minimum 10-year life sentence
  • Travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct, with up to a life sentence
  • Transportation of a minor to engage in sexual activity, which carries a 10-year minimum and up to live sentence
  • Transfer of obscene material to a minor, with up to a life sentence

Hill was arrested on July 29.

The Atchison County Sheriff's Office said Hill continues to be held at its facility without bond. The Office said additional updates will follow, and that all subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
