I-229 northbound off-ramp to U.S. 36 west to close for repairs

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the left turn lane of the northbound Interstate 229 off-ramp to westbound U.S. 36 for two days for repairs.

The ramp will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, through about 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13.

MoDOT crews will complete concrete bridge deck repairs during the closure.

In addition, MoDOT said drivers will need to seek an alternate route during the closure.
