Mosaic Life Care announces emergency room detour

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Following construction work at Mosaic Life Care, a detour is being made for patients seeking access to the emergency room.

Mosaic says the only entrance to the emergency room will be from the Heartland Road entry beginning Sunday, August 23.

This is due to Mosaic's construction of their new heart, lung, and vascular center that has entered phase 2.

The medical center has been in contact with local EMS and law enforcement to ensure that patients arrive quickly and safely.

There is no word on when construction will be finished.
