Tracking a Cool and Dry Friday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

The end of the workweek we are going to continue to see cloudy skies and cool temperatures across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri. While temperatures will remain on the cool side, we can expect some sunshine to make its way throughout the day on Friday and it should be on the dry side.

Friday morning will start off on the chilly side with temperatures across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri in the lower 40s and a few upper 30s. As we move through the morning and into the afternoon, we will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Temperatures will struggle to climb into the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Once the sun goes down, temperatures will begin to drop fairly quickly with a mostly clear sky and a light wind. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 30s and upper 20s for some areas of the region. As we head into the weekend Saturdays rain chances are very low which should be good for any outdoor activities.
