Bishop LeBlond wins City Volleyball Jamboree

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Bishop LeBlond Golden Eagles volleyball team won the 2026 City Volleyball Jamboree Tuesday night.

The Golden Eagles won two of their three matches Tuesday night inside the MWSU Fieldhouse.

Bishop LeBlond defeated Central, 2-0, and Savannah, 2-0, and tied with Benton, 1-1.

Central went 0-1-2 on the night. Central lost to Bishop LeBlond, 2-0, and tied with Benton, 1-1, and Savannah, 1-1.

As for the Cardinals, they went 0-0-3. Benton tied with Bishop LeBlond, 1-1, Central, 1-1, and Savannah, 1-1.

Savannah finished the night 0-1-2. The Savages lost to the Golden Eagles, 2-0, and tied with Central, 1-1, and Benton, 1-1.
