Tracking a Cooler Thursday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

We are tracking another cool and cloudy day across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri on Thursday. Temperatures continue to run much cooler than what is expected for this time of year. The good news is that we are not expecting any significant weather problems, as most of the area should remain on the dry side.

we will start off the day on the cool side with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s. You will want to make sure to grab that jacket before you head out the door for work or school. We will have a mixture of sun and clouds throughout the day, with afternoon highs climbing into the low to mid 50s.

Winds will generally be out of the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour, adding a little chill to the air. Clouds will start to increase as we head towards Thursday night and we will introduce a slight chance for a shower as we come closer to the late night hours.

We are not expecting much change in our temperatures Friday, with afternoon highs remaining in the low to mid 50s under partly sunny skies.
