Tracking a Sunny and Hotter Saturday

Saturday we will start to see the heat move back into northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. We will start the day with a few clouds around the area but then quickly we will see the clouds break apart and we will be left with mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will rise in the afternoon with the highs reaching into the lower 90s right around 92 degrees. The winds will start to pick up out of the south and will become gusty by the afternoon. The evening will remain dry and warm with overnight lows in the lower 70s which will set the stage for an even hotter Sunday.

Sunday and next week we will be tracking even warmer temperatures with highs reaching into the mid to upper 90s.
