KCK police identify victim from Monday homicide

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KQTV) -- The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department released the name of the man who was killed in a homicide incident on Monday, Sept. 21.

The incident, which took place at N. 18th Street and Longwood Avenue, consisted of one man being killed and a USD 500 school bus with passengers on board being struck by gunfire.

No other injuries were reported.

The victim, 36-year-old Stephen David Bagley, is a resident of Kansas City, Kansas.

The department said the incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information on the case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).

All tips remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.

In a Monday news release, the department said there was no one in custody in regard to the incident.
