Flood Warning issued October 2 at 8:36AM CDT until October 3 at 11:30AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Nebraska…Missouri…

Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha
Counties.

.This update reflects a two-foot decrease in the forecasted river
crest.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Brownville.

* WHEN…Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 35.0 feet, The parking lot and boat ramp south of
Highway 136 on the Nebraska side are underwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 33.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this morning to a crest of 34.3 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage late tonight.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 34.1
feet on 05/25/2004.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
