Guardrail replacement to impact I-29 traffic in Andrew County

MoDOT

ANDREW COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation said drivers may experience traffic delays on southbound Interstate 29 in Andrew County, beginning tomorrow.

The work will take place near the 58.6-mile marker.

The closures are scheduled to take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Superior Rail System, LLC, working with MoDOT, plans to close the passing left lane to replace the guardrail. Once it's complete, crews will switch to the driving right lane.

The lanes will be narrowed from mile marker 59 to mile marker 58. A 16-foot width restriction will be in place.

MoDOT said motorists should expect delays and all work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
