Man seriously injured in single vehicle crash

BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- One male passenger is seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash on Route H on Saturday morning.

The 28-year-old male driver of a 2015 Subaru Forester from Smithville, Missouri, was eastbound on Route H, just 3 miles west of Gower, Missouri. A 27-year-old male passenger, also from Smithville was in the vehicle.

The vehicle then traveled off the south side of the roadway and continued a significant distance before overturning and coming to rest facing north on its top.

Both the driver and the occupant were transported by Tri-County Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt, but the passenger was not, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report.
