Dekalb Historical Society sponsoring hands-on workshop

DEKALB COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Fairport Cemetery will be hosting a Cemetery Stones Workshop on Saturday, March 28.

The event hopes to show community members how to keep their family members' tombstones looking their best.

The guest instructor at the event will be Kurt Jordan, the KC Cemetery Man.

Jordan will show guests how to perform headstone repair and reset the headstone without damaging it.

Pre-registration for the event is required. Guests can pay by mailing DCHS or registering online at www.missouridchs.com.

Registration is $20 for all DCHS members and $25 for non-members by mail. Online registration fees will be an additional $1.25 more compared to paying by mail.
