Closings and Delays for March 16, 2026

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Below is a list of schools, organizations or businesses that will be closed/delayed start due to weather:

Schools:

• Andrew County Senior Center is closed
• Avenue City R-IX will be using an AMI Day
• Congregate Meals are canceled
• Donovan County Transportation and Meals on Wheels is closed today.
• Early Learning Center classes have been canceled
• Joyce Ray Patterson Activity Center will be closed. All classes and activities are canceled. The fitness center and billiard room are open
• Hillyard Technical Center will be using an AMI day
• Keatley's Adult Education classes have been canceled
• King City R-1 is closed
• Maryville R-2 School is closed
• Meals on Wheels deliveries are canceled
• Mound City R-2 school canceled, no AMI day
• MSHP Troop H has canceled driving skills test for Chilicothe, Savannah, Maryville and St. Joseph
• North Andrew R-VI school is canceled
• North Nodaway R-6 will be using an AMI day
• Northeast Nodaway R-5 is closed
• Northwest Missouri State University campus will be closed. The University Police Department, residence halls and and dining in the J.W. Jones Student Union remain open
• Riverside USD 114 will be closed.
• Savannah R-III will be using an AMI day
• Southside and Northside AfterSchool sites are closed
• St. Joseph School District will be using an AMI day
• Union Star R-2 is closed
• United Cerebral Palsy of NWMO will be closed
• Webster Learning Center classes have been canceled
