Bernard honored as a 2026 WBCA 30 under 30 selection

Arizona State University

ATLANTA (KQTV) — A St. Joseph, Mo. native and a former Benton basketball All-State standout has been honored by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Daejah Bernard, an Arizona State assistant coach and basketball operations coordinator, was named to the WBCA Thirty under 30 list this week.

The program recognizes 30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches that are 30 and under at all levels of basketball.

Bernard is an assistant coach on Molly Miller's staff at ASU. The former Benton Cardinal played for Miller at Drury University in Springfield, Mo. where Bernard's jersey has been retired.

She joined Miller's staff at Grand Canyon University and went with her former head coach to Arizona State last spring.

Bernard helped lead Benton to a 2016 Girls Basketball State Championship. The Cardinals went 32-0 that season.
