ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV)-- The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art is opening two new exhibits — Hollis Williford: Sculptures, Paintings & Drawings and The Shape of the Prairie: Keith Jacobshagen.

The exhibit opening will also feature a free public reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, at the museum, located at 2818 Frederick Ave.

The exhibits explore themes of storytelling, landscape, memory and place through sculpture, painting and drawing.

Visitors can expect to see Hollis Williford’s expressive bronze figures and narrative-inspired imagery and Keith Jacobshagen’s reflections on the Midwestern landscape, with a focus on changing light, atmosphere and sense of place.

Regular museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $7 for students.
