Flooding reported in Nodaway County

MARYVILLE, Mo (KQTV)-- Maryville, Missouri, experienced flash floods following Monday night's storm.

Several fields outside of the city were flooded with water that spilled over from the 102 River.

The river reached over 25 feet in depth at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The flooding even reached inside the town of Maryville and into Happy Hollow Park.

Maryville resident Tom Noland shared his experience with the flooding during the storms.

"I just happened to look out my window right when it was pouring down rain," Noland said. "It was like a cloud burst. All of a sudden, water was coming up my driveway."

Flooding also reached towns in Andrew County, such as Bolckow and Rosendale.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration website, 80% of homes and businesses in Rosendale are flooded from Monday's storms.
