Northwest outfielder named to ABCA/Rawlings Central Region 2nd team

MARYVILLE, Mo. (KQTV)-- A St. Joseph, Mo. native baseball standout has earned a postseason honor for his performance at Northwest Missouri State this spring.

Bearcats center fielder Frank Gall has been named to the 2026 American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings NCAA Division II Central Region Second Team.

The St. Joseph native led the Bearcats in multiple categories including batting average (.354), hits (81), runs (75), triples (6), RBI (55), sacrifice flies (5), and stolen bases (27).

The Bishop LeBlond graduate also set the single-season Bearcat records for runs scored and tied the record for hits. Gall had 229 at-bats and that is a single-season school record.

He was named second team All-MIAA selection, too.

Gall started all 54 games for Northwest and helped guide the Bearcats to a 36-18 record.
