St. Joseph kid hosts lemonade stand in Southside

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- A boy living in Southside St. Joseph hosted a lemonade stand following a tragic personal event.

Levi Wood hopes to raise money to purchase his father a special funeral gift.

Wood lost his father recently to a stroke.

Lemonade wasn't the only thing up for sale at Levi's lemonade stand. He was selling stuffed animals as well as several types of trading cards, such as Soccer, Football, and Pokémon.

Levi took a short break at around 1 so he could go see the dinosaur attractions at the Carnegie Library, which was open for most of the day.
