Art Fair takes over Albrecht-Kemper

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art (AKMA) hosted an open-house art exhibit on Saturday, welcoming families and local artists to celebrate and engage with the area's creative community.

The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art (AKMA) welcomed art enthusiasts from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during its Art Fair.

Attendees enjoyed live music, children's activities, and the opportunity to purchase artwork from local artists at vendor tents.

Admission to the event was free, inviting all community members to participate in the celebration of local art and culture.

"The art fair is just an opportunity for us to bring the community out to see some local artists that come out to share what they make," Executive Director of AKMA Eric Fuson said. "It's really about bringing the art community together and just having some fun."

On Saturday, June 27th, the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art will present a Whiskey Tasting & Hog Roast.
