UFC Freedom 250: What we know about the men charged in the alleged plotted attack

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- Seven men are in custody following the alleged terrorist plot at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14.

Before the event, the Federal Bureau of Investigation uncovered a scheme to enact an attack on nearby buildings to the White House.

The plan involved flying drones into nearby buildings that would cause the rapid evacuation of the crowd on the property, which exceeded 80,000 fans.

Following the evacuation, event attendees would eventually run into the line of sniper rifle fire if the plan was to go as expected.

The suspects that have been arrested to this point are from several regions of the country.

Tycen Proper from Ohio, Michael Alan Thomas and Bryan Omar Roa from California, Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez from Nebraska, William Lee Falkner from Washington and Daniel Eskridge and Jordan Rincker from Missouri.

The plot was uncovered after Proper's mother contacted the authorities following his recent firearm purchases and suspicious online communications.

The plotters first connected through a TikTok community known as "Vanguard of the Old" before moving their discussion to encrypted messaging platforms like Signal, Telegram and SimpleX.

Each suspect already detained is being charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder and were also caught with different types of weapons and tactical gear in their homes.

According to the Department of Justice, investigators identified a broader network of roughly 19 participants using encrypted messaging apps to plot an attack on the event.

The DOJ said investigators are continuing to work with nearly 14 to 15 field offices to track down additional plotters.
