‘All Aboard Atchison Match Day’ returns in August

ATCHISON, Kan. (KQTV) -- The Atchison Foundation is hosting its sixth annual "All Aboard Atchison Match Day" on Aug. 14, which aims to help Atchison-area nonprofit organizations earn a share of $150,000 in matching funds.

The 24-hour event will give donors a chance to support over 60 local charities that address several needs across the county.

There will be a Happy Hour event from 4-7 p.m. at the Atchison Event Center for attendees to bring in their donations in person. This will give residents a chance to meet some of the organizations and see the work they are doing in the community.

Other ways of donating are to give online at AllAboardAtchison.com from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m., or to mail a check and a completed donation form to the Atchison Foundation at PO Box 387, Atchison, KS 66002.

All mailed donations must be received by Aug. 14.
