‘Field to Consumer Farm Tours’ to take place from MU Extension

University of Missouri Extension

GOWER, Mo. (KQTV) -- A Buchanan County farm will host the beginning of a three-part series from the MU Extension office where participants will learn what it takes to bring products from the farm to the table.

This series aims to not only show the behind-the-scenes of owning a farm, but also help agricultural entrepreneurs realize their dreams of farm ownership and business growth and develop financially successful and sustainable rural lifestyles.

The first stop is at 1840 Cattle Co., 9231 NW 316th St. in Gower on Aug. 6. This stop will take place from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, and all classes cost $10 and are limited to 20 attendees.
