Businesses to honor new leaders through a chamber event

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce will honor new leaders in the St. Joseph business community at its New Leaders Welcome.

The event will be held to recognize those who take on leadership roles.

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at inspireU Children's Discovery Center, 521 Felix St.

"This is a perfect opportunity to show your employees recognition for taking on leadership roles," said Natalie Hawn, President and CEO of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce. "Sign them up to be recognized and take a lunch hour and honor them for their accomplishments."

The keynote speaker for the event is Don Tolly.

Tolly is the owner of Tolly & Associates, Inc., an insurance agency based in St. Joseph.
