ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- St. Joseph residents and businesses reported power outages in the South End Wednesday.

Two shaded areas on Evergy's outage map showcased a total of 1,590 customers without power during an outage that started at 12:55 p.m. and was cleared just before 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

The City of St. Joseph erected stop signs at intersections with traffic lights, due to those lights being out as well.

Evergy said crews are still working to investigate the cause of the outage.
