816LIVE! opens season with music of the Bee Gees

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- 816LIVE! is kicking off the beginning of its season at the Missouri Theatre with a tribute to the Bee Gees.

Bee Gees Gold will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Missouri Theatre, located at 717 Edmond St.

According to an 816LIVE! news release, the Bee Gees became one of the best-selling musical acts of all time, creating hits that crossed generations and genres.

Iconic songs include: "Stayin' Alive," "How Deep Is Your Love," "Night Fever," "Jive Talkin'" and "You Should Be Dancing."

"These are songs that people know the moment they hear them," said Paul Storiale, executive director of the Performing Arts Association. "You don't have to be a lifelong Bee Gees fan to enjoy this show. This music is incredibly familiar, it's fun and it is the kind of concert where people will leave smiling...or even dancing."
