1 stabbed in Monday night fight in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- One person was stabbed during a fight Monday night in St. Joseph.

According to the St. Joseph Police Department, a fight happened around 11 p.m. in the area of 15th and Beattie streets.

Police said one person was stabbed during the fight and both people were taken to the hospital. The victim was in stable condition. The suspect has been released from the hospital.

Police also said the suspect is in custody and was transported to jail.

Law enforcement on the scene Monday night said that the victim's injuries were described as non-life threatening.
