Bode Sports Complex parking lot to close for milling, repaving work

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- The City of St. Joseph said the parking lot at the Bode Sports Complex will be closed as crews complete milling and repaving work.

The lot will be closed Thursday and Friday, Sept. 24 and 25. The project is expected to be completed Friday, although weather conditions could delay the reopening of the parking lot until Monday, Sept. 28.

Bode Ice Arena will remain open throughout the repairs; however, the early Thursday morning skating session has been cancelled.

The pickleball courts will also remain open, and a scheduled Friday tournament will still take place while work is underway.

Visitors using the complex are encouraged to park int he lot west of Bode or in the parking lot across the street.

The city said the public is encouraged to use caution around the work area and follow posted parking and access instructions.
