Nodaway County Regional Council to host free hazardous waste collection event

MARYVILLE, Mo. (KQTV) -- The Nodaway County Regional Council will host a free household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, October 17th, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The collection will take place at the Nodaway County Maintenance Barn, located at 1516 East Halsey Street in Maryville.

Residents of Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway, and Worth counties are eligible to participate, and a valid ID is required.

Accepted items include household chemicals, paints, batteries, and automotive fluids.

Participants are asked to keep all waste in its original packaging and not mix products together.
