Tracking spotty weekend rain chances, lingering clouds

Partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers will continue Saturday evening through Sunday morning as a low pressure system slowly tracks across the Mid-Missouri River Valley. Rain chances remain around 30% to 40% over the next 12 to 24 hours, with plenty of dry time as well and overnight lows falling well into the 60s. Showers become more isolated in nature by late Sunday morning, leading into a dry period for the afternoon with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Winds remain light through the weekend, from the southeast on the order of 5 to 10 mph. The upcoming work week starts out on a mild and dry note Monday, before widespread rain chances return Tuesday and into Wednesday.
