South Harrison junior commits to Syracuse softball

BETHANY, Mo. (KQTV) -- A South Harrison junior softball standout has made her decision about where she will play softball in college.

Bulldogs' pitcher Rory Fitzgerald announced earlier this month that she will be heading to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) to play for Syracuse.

As a sophomore, Fitzgerald earned several honors including first team All-State, first team All-Region, first team All-District, and first team All-Conference.

Fitzgerald and South Harrison took home second place in the Class 2 State Tournament last season.
