Local insurance agent pens book

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- A local insurance agent is sharing lessons from his career and his community in a new book.

Don Tolly, of Tolly and Associates American Family Insurance, wrote Build on Value, Grow With Heart.

The book draws on his experiences in the insurance business and focuses on giving back and spreading kindness.

“The key with the book is leading with the heart and giving back to the community,” Tolly said. “My process has been, if you give, you’re going to get tenfold back.”

Tolly said the message is intended for entrepreneurs and anyone seeking peace of mind.
