Tracking a partly cloudy mid-week, continuing warming trend

Tuesday afternoon sunshine will give way to increasing clouds overnight as a weak disturbance tracks across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Aside from a slight chance of sprinkles, mainly dry skies are expected over the next 24 hours with a partly cloudy Wednesday. Temperatures cool to near 50 degrees late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning followed by an afternoon warm-up with highs in the mid 70s and light southerly breezes. Sunshine and October warmth prevail Thursday, Friday and Saturday with afternoon highs in the upper 70s and lows in the 50s.
