St. Joseph Restaurant Week to kick off Monday

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Food lovers across St. Joseph will have a chance to participate in Restaurant Week, featuring new menu items and specials at select local restaurants.

St. Joseph's Restaurant Week will run from Monday, Feb. 23, to Sunday, March 1.

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the event for the seventh year to help support restaurants in what typically can be a slow time of year.

Restaurants are asked to offer special menu items at $10, $15 and $30 price levels for dine-in, carry out and/or delivery.

"Foodies" will be able to participate in Restaurant Week at 29 local restaurants:

  • Baskin-Robins
  • Big Daddy BBQ
  • Cafe Belle Espoque
  • Chaddy's
  • D&G Pub & Grab Brew Haus
  • Felix Street Gourmet
  • Fireside Sports Bar & Grill (inside casino)
  • Frederick Inn Steakhouse
  • Geneo's Pizza & Pub
  • Hazel's Coffee & Roasting Company
  • Hi-Ho Bar & Grill
  • Hoof & Horn Steakhouse
  • Johnna Mae's Restaurant & Drive-Thru
  • La Mesa Mexican Restaurant
  • Le Peep
  • Little Caesars of St. Joseph
  • Longboards Wraps & Bowls
  • Los Arcos
  • Love & Frosting Bakeshop
  • Magoon's Famous Delicatessen
  • Murphy's Smokin Meats & Catering
  • Pizza Shoppe
  • Pop's Place Sports Bar and Grill
  • Pronto Café
  • Simple Simons Pizza
  • Taco Bandido
  • Texas Roadhouse- St. Joseph

Other local restaurants will also be participating by hosting Special Events throughout the week.

"We created Restaurant Week with partners to help support restaurants in what can be a slow time of year for them," said Hatalie Hawn, president and CEO of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce. "We're excited to see the program continue with new restaurants added this year. We encourage everyone to get out and try something new!"
