Buchanan County voter turnout higher compared to 2024 Primary Election

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- Following the Missouri Primary Election on Aug. 4, an official count has been reported for voters.

Buchanan County saw 15,955 of its 53,194 registered voters showing up to the polls Tuesday.

This is roughly 30% of voters across all 23 Buchanan County precincts.

The turnout is higher compared to the turnout for the 2024 Primary election, when voter turnout clocked in at 25.29% of total registered voters.
