Dan Byford

MARYVILLE, Mo. (KQTV) — There are not very many coaches that have 1,300 career victories, but there is one coach at Northwest Missouri State that does.

Northwest's tennis head coach Mark Rosewell recorded his 1,300th career victory on Friday afternoon when the Bearcat men's team defeated Southwest Baptist, 5-2.

Rosewell has 1,278 victories in 42 seasons at Northwest.

The Missouri Sports Hall of Famer had 22 victories in two seasons at the University of Central Missouri before taking over the Bearcats' program.
