ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Facilitators of the third annual St. Joseph Madam President Camp said they are down to their final 10 seats.

Facilitators also said there are scholarship opportunities available for those wanting to attend and needing assistance.

Madam President Camp teaches leadership and civic engagement skills to girls ages 11 to 13. The camp offers girls an opportunity to learn about their gifts and talents and use their abilities to become leaders in their communities, and ultimately the world.

The total cost of the camp is $150, which includes all supplies, snacks, lunch, t-shirts and Swag bags for the three-day camp in July.

The camp will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on July 13 through 15 in Missouri Western State University's Spratt Hall rooms 214-216.

Registration should ideally be done by Friday, July 10, but parents and guardians can also register on first day of camp.

Interested participants can register at https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/lEi-IAydxDD_1WxRkZg2qw.
