SJSD Board of Education member files for Missouri State House seat

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) — A current St. Joseph School District Board of Education member has filed to run for an open Missouri State Representative seat.

According to Missouri's Secretary of State website, Kim Miller has filed to run for the Missouri House of Representative District 11 seat.

Miller filed on Wednesday, March 11, just after 12 p.m., according to the state website.

The current SJSD board member is running against fellow Republicans Taylor Crouse, a former St. Joseph City Council member, and Tina Goodrick.

During Miller's run for school board, Crouse served as the treasurer for her campaign, according to Missouri Ethics Commission filings.

KQ2 reached out to Miller Thursday morning for a statement and will update this story when we receive a response.
