St. Joseph man hospitalized after being struck by an SUV in Bethany

HARRISON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- An 88-year-old man from St. Joseph was brought to hospital after being struck by an SUV while walking across a parking lot of a Casey's General Store location in Bethany.

As a 30-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri was backing out her 2018 Hyundai Tucson from a parking spot, she struck the man around 11:53 am on March 21 according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H.

The man was brought to the Harrison County Community Hospital via North Missouri EMS with moderate injuries.
