North Missouri Drug Task Force makes drug trafficking arrest

DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- Members of the North Missouri Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop, resulting in a seizure, arrest and drug trafficking charges on Thursday, April 30.

Officers conducted the stop on State Highway 6 near Gallatin, Missouri, which resulted in the seizure of approximately 70 grams of methamphetamine.

Christopher Wilson of Trenton, Missouri was arrested and charged for Drug Trafficking.

"I would like to thank the North Missouri Drug Task Force for its positive impact on our community and for working so closely with our Sheriff's Office," Daviess County Sheriff Gary Allison said. "Together we are stronger and with aggressive enforcement of drug laws we pledge not to relent in pursuing the dealers of these poisons."

According to a probable cause statement, Wilson has a record of criminal history, previously pleading guilty for involuntary manslaughter in 2022 and possession of a controlled substance.

Judge Micha Dixon of the 43rd Judicial Court in Daviess County denied bond for Wilson.
